Lotem 800: FCO 24800 - Head gripper replacement

1. Reason For Change
   Mechanical failure at the base of head gripper.
   
2. Description of Change
   Replace Head gripper assembly including the base.
   
3. Change Procedure
   1. Open two screws holding the gripper base to drum (remember, these screws are closed with blue loctite).
   2. Remove head gripper units.
   3. Clean the particals left from the old locktite inside the thread with Aceton.
   4. Use the new screws that coming with the FCO KIT to attach the head gripper Assembly to drum.
   5. These screws must be dipped with one drop of blue loctite 242 before tightening.
   6. The screws should be tightened with a torque of 16 kg-cm (14 lb.-in)
   7. Wait 3 hours to allow the locktite to dry.

   Old Type of Head Gripper base that nedd to replace - You can see that the old type of the head gripper base is diffrerent then the new type base.

4. Test Procedure -
   Load plate and expose max image to check attacment of the plate on the drum
   
5. Parts List -
   The FCO kit will includes 9 units. Each unit include the following P/N:
   507E1L204 x 9 - Head Gripper Assembly
   382D11000 x 18 - Spring whshers
   380A05061 x 18 - Screws
   480C10192 x 1 - ADH.RET.10CC LOCTITE 242

   None
   
7. Material Disposition
   Important: Return the old Head Grippers back to STIL .
   (The head gripper unit will be remachined in STIL)
   
8. Logistics - Material for this FCO will be supplied after order placment
   Note: Each kit includes 9 assemblies of Head Grippers

   STE may order up to 11 kits
   STAP may order up to 3 kits
   STN may order 1 kit
   STMA may order 1 kit
