1. Reason For Change

• The antistatic kit helps to prevent double loading, loading of plate with paper and reduces electric static power.

2. Description of Change

• Add the antistatic kit to the cassette panel of Lotem 800. The change is required only in cases of electric static problems.
  

3. Change Procedure

• Open the side panel and dissconnect the cassette panel (picture 1).

• Connect the 2 brackets (290A6A321), one in each side, to the rear side of cassette panel with 8-32*1/4 screw. put the Ext tooth washer under the bracket (picture 2).

• Peel the sticker and the white wire from the antistatic brush (pictires 3, 4)

• Glue the antistatic brush from one side of the bracket along the cassette panel to the other bracket (pictures 5, 6).
• Note: make sure you glue the brush when the hairs are sticking out from their edge (picture 7).

• Tighten the antistatic brush edges to the brackets with two 10-32*5/16 screws (picture 7).
• Also here make sure you put the Ext. tooth washer as shown in picture 5.
