FCO #510F27788 - Hole for soft roller replacement

Description: Drill a hole to enable roller replacements. This FCO should be implemented whenever an Anti-scratching kit - p/n 510K1P260 is installed.

1. Reason For Change

Enables replacement of plate rollers with anti-scratch rollers. No disassembly of additional components is needed. A hole must be drilled on the right side of the mainframe.

2. Description of Change

Drill a hole in the mainframe

3. Change Procedure

3.1. Open the right side door. Measure 24 mm from the lower end of the door locker unit. See fig. 1
3.2. Drill a 5.2 mm diameter hole.
3.3. Remove the E-rings from the rod.
3.4. Pull out the roller rod through the hole. Be careful to monitor the rollers as they slip off the rod onto the tray.
3.5. Remove the existing rollers, and reinsert the rod through the hole. Then insert the anti scratch rollers.
3.6. Assemble the E-rings on the rod ends.
