Reason For Change

The fly off housing re design in order to position the fly off sensor in a fixed position in relation to the drum.

Each on of the fly sensor is tested in the assembly line with a special Jig to ensure a wide rang of the fly off sensor.

Description of Change

Replace the fly off assembly unit with the new one.

Change Procedure

1. Disconnect Molex connectors from fly off detectors.

2. Unscrew and remove two detector units and brackets.

3. Replace new brackets and detectors.

4. Replace the old screws and replace with the new ones.

5. Place on drop of Blue locktite before tighten the screws.

6. Connect Molex connectors to the fly off adapter

Test Procedure

1. Perform automatic plate loading.

2. Release plate from tail grippers

3. Open fly off window in order to see that the status position of detectors is changing from off to on.

4. Rotate drum at 5rpm, verify that fly off sensor is activated as soon as the plate touch the sensor.
