1 meter of Teflon (P/N 401C10025)

Problem

When the plate falls on the punch cover, missing the plate roller (as shown in the example below), the edges of the punch cover scratch the plates, reducing the quality of the printed images.

Solution

Attach a Teflon strip to the punches' covers.

Special Tools needed

Knife, scissors

Procedure

To obtain a better contact surface, clean the punch cover with alcohol.
Tape the supplied Teflon tape (P/N 401C10025) on the front, high end of the punch cover, as shown below.

Cut the tape to accommodate the size of the punch cover, as shown below.

Cut the excess tape from both sides, as shown below.

Expose the adjustment screw in the middle section of the punch cover by carefully cutting away the tape covering the screw, as shown below.
