Component

Fixed wheel base for unload gripper actuator

Problem

During unloading, the plate becomes stuck under the spring spoilers.

Solution

Replace the fixed wheel base with the updated fixed wheel base (P/N 290B2T680), which increases the clearance between the head grippers and the drum by 0.2 mm.

Procedure

From the Lotem application, open the rear door.
Remove the two Phillips^® screws from each of the two fixed wheel bases, and then remove the fixed wheel bases. It is recommended to use a ring ratchet with a Philips bit, as shown below.

Put Loctite^® 242 on the two Philips screws and install the two upgraded fixed wheel bases (P/N 290B2T680).

Testing Clearance

After installing the upgraded fixed wheel bases, press down on the actuator pins bar and verify that there is enough clearance between the bearings.
