Description
Two different revisions of MCF boards share the same part number: 503C2L166S.
We cannot control the board's revisions. When an MCF replacement is required,
several steps must be performed due to the different Xilix files that are needed
to load according to the board revision.
Replacement Description
Identify the revision number of the new board:
If the new board revision number is the same as the defective one, no action
should be taken other than board replacement.
If the new board's revision is different from the defective board, a different
Xilinx file must be loaded.
Identify The Board Revision
Changing the Xilinx according to Board Revision
Go to START/ RUN / Regedit / HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / SCITEX / PROJECT
/ LOTEM400V (or Lotem 800) / IO OBJECTS / MCF CARDS / MCF CARD.
Double-click the Xilinx file line and change the xil file.
LOTEM 400
For MCF revision A - Lotem 400\UpLoadFile\Mcf\ctp.xil
For MCF revision A software version 1.50.07 and later - Lotem 400\UpLoadFile\Mcf\ctp_RevA.xil
For MCF revision C - Lotem 400\UpLoadFile\Mcf\ctp_RevC.xil
Make sure the file exists under C:\Lotem\Lotem400\UpLoadFiles; if the file
does not exit, a new version, 1.30.04, should be loaded.
LOTEM 800
For MCF revision A - Lotem800\UpLoadFile\Mcf\ctp.xil
For MCF revision C - Lotem800\UpLoadFile\Mcf\ctp_RevC.xil
Make sure the file exists under C:\Lotem\Lotem800\UpLoadFiles.
