Lotem^® 800V

Symptoms

Occasionally, when you load Windows CD Image 2.0 (after loading BIOS version 1.2) on an old Lotem 800V platesetter, an error message is displayed from EZ-Restore stating that the disk is too small and it cannot install the image file.

Cause

Some old Lotem 800V platesetters only have a 1.6 GB hard drive, which is insufficient to load Windows CD Image 2.0

Solution

Load Windows CD Image 1.0 and BIOS version 1.1
Alternatively, upgrade the hard drive so that it is large enough to accept Windows CD Image 2.0
