Lotem® 800 running Lotem Controller software version 3.61.02.
|
|
Symptoms |
|
- When the Lotem 800 platesetter is imaging, a short movie (.avi file)
is activated in Lotem Controller software version 3.61.02.
- If you move your mouse during the playback of the movie, Lotem Controller
freezes but the platesetter continues imaging.
- Lotem Controller does not report an error message even though the
software has frozen.
|
|
Cause |
|
The .avi file is not synchronized with Lotem Controller, which causes
the software to freeze.

Solution |
|
Perform the following steps to disable the .avi file from playing back
during the imaging process:
- Download the Patch #2 compressed file and save it
to the desktop. The LoadPlateFromCassetteToPunchEntryTask.zip
compressed file appears on the desktop.
- Extract the compressed file to the desktop. The following two files
appear on the desktop:
- LoadPlateFromCassetteToPunchEntryTask.script
- Read_Me_First.txt
- Quit Lotem Controller.
- In Microsoft® Windows® Explorer, perform
the following actions:
- Locate the LoadPlateFromCassetteToPunchEntryTask.script
file at
C:\Lotem\Lotem800\Scripts\LoadingSystem\Automatic\AutoPlate
- Back up the script by changing the file name from
LoadPlateFromCassetteToPunchEntryTask.script
to
LoadPlateFromCassetteToPunchEntryTask_org.script
- Copy the downloaded LoadPlateFromCassetteToPunchEntryTask.script
file from the desktop, and paste it in the AutoPlate
folder at
C:\Lotem\Lotem800\Scripts\LoadingSystem\Automatic\AutoPlate.
- Start Lotem Controller.
- On the desktop, delete the following three files:
- LoadPlateFromCassetteToPunchEntryTask.zip
- LoadPlateFromCassetteToPunchEntryTask.script
- Read_Me_First.txt
