Lotem 800/800 Quantum - Becker XY Vacuum Pump DT 4.8 Preventive Maintenance

Procedure

Note: In addition to the standard tools, a 4-mm Allen key is required.

1. Remove the distribution box panel.
2. Disassemble the Vacuum Pump Cover by removing the four Allen screws (see Figure 1).

3. Remove the used filter and dispose of it.

4. Remove the five blades.
5. Using an external air pressure hose, clean the inner areas of the vacuum pump.
6. Measure each vacuum pump blade with a caliber to check whether the blade has eroded. The width should be greater than 12.5 mm.

7. If the width of a vacuum pump blade is 12.5 mm or less, replace all the blades in the set with a new set (P/N 510K3R285).
   Important: Insert the vacuum pump blades with the curved side outward, fitting into the housing curve (see Figure 4).

8. Insert a new filter (P/N 342A10070).
9. Secure the vacuum pump cover by tightening the four Allen screws.
10. Reinstall the distribution box panel.
