Dongle configuration and upgrades for Lotem 800 II family

Description

Creo manufactures the Lotem™ 800 II Quantum with three different speed options to enable adequate, fast or optimal throughput. The speed is determined by the dongle configured in each machine. You can upgrade to a faster speed and improve machine throughput by adding dongles, as shown in the following table:

Note: To upgrade the Lotem 800 II QR to Lotem 800 II Quantum, add a Quantum dongle and a P22 head.

Dongles:

With each upload of the Lotem GUI, the GUI checks whether the head and dongle match.

• When the head identifies itself as P22, the matching Quantum (Q) dongle must also be identified.
• When a P33 head identifies itself, a Quantum dongle should not be found. If a dongle is identified, a system configuration error message is displayed on the Lotem monitor.
