Symptoms |
When a mixed Staccato® / AM file is exposed onto a positive plate, a 10 micron black line appears along the join where the two different exposure types meet. |
||
Cause |
When exposing a mixed file, the carriage has to make more than one pass. On the second pass, a 10 micron black line will appear. This line is caused by a blind spot located along the join where the two exposure types meet. |
||
Solution |
A patch will be implemented in the next Brisque® update. The new patch will reduce the appearance of the lines by reducing the number of passes. For example, two different Staccato screens on the same job will be exposed in one pass as opposed to two passes. |
