Reconfiguring the Brisque after cassette replacement

Product

  • Lotem® 800 II Family
  • Lotem 800
  • Lotem 800 Quantum
  • Lotem Quantum Spectrum

Symptoms

After replacing a cassette on the Lotem platesetter, the first job for the new media generates the following two warning messages:

  • There are only 0 plates. It is not enough to expose your job, please load new media.
  • Requested plate is not installed.

Cause

In Brisque version 3, to update the plate status, a small configuration adjustment had to be performed prior to exposure. In Brisque versions 4.1 and 5, the performance was improved, but after adding plates and updating the number in the PC Controller, it was still necessary to reconfigure the Brisque again.

Solution

Reconfigure the Brisque after you replace a cassette.
NOTE: This is not a bug. It is the correct behavior for Brisque version 4.
