Error

"Cannot plot at resolution requested. Allowed range is 94 ..... to 100."

Symptoms

When trying to expose the half resolution option, the above error message is displayed.

Cause

The expose resolution 1270 dpi or 1200 dpi option is supported by PC versions 3.6 and 3.70.02, but not by version 3.51.02.

Solution

To expose the half resolution option:

1. From Splot, enter the set duplicate command, as follows: Quantum>>Set mode 2 SscanDuplicate 2
   Note: This command is for the sub scan resolution only.
2. The output is as follows:

Note: When working with Xilinx version 1.38 or higher, the MscanDuplicate should also be changed to 2, as shown in the following example:
