QuantumSeries script version 0.25

Symptoms

When running a power series in Service Shell 2.5, the QuantumSeries script version 0.25 fails to register decimal values, and instead rounds up decimal values to the nearest whole number.
For example, if you are running a power series from 3 W to 10 W in increments of 0.5 W, the results will be incorrectly rounded up as follows: 3 W, 3 W, 4 W, 4 W, 5 W, 5 W—as opposed to 3 W, 3.5 W, 4 W, 4.5 W, 5 W, 5.5 W.

Cause

QuantumSeries script version 0.25 contains a known problem.

Solution

Upgrade from QuantumSeries script version 0.25 to QuantumSeries script version 0.28.

1. Check the version number of the QuantumSeries script:
   1. C:\Lotem\Util\Quantum Files\ServiceShell\Scripts
   2. Right-click QuantumSeries.spt and select Open With....
      
      
      
      The Open With dialog box appears. In the Choose the program you want to use box, select Notepad and click OK.
   3. The version number of the QuantumSeries script is displayed at the top of the Version column:
      
      
      
      
   4. Close Notepad.
2. If the QuantumSeries script is version 0.25, proceed with the remainder of this procedure. (If the script is not version 0.25, then the problem you are experiencing is not related to the QuantumSeries script.)
   1. Locate:
      C:\Lotem\Util\Quantum Files\ServiceShell\Scripts
   2. Right-click QuantumSeries.spt and select Rename. Amend the name of the file to QuantumSeriesOrig.spt:
      
      
      
      
3. Download the zipped QuantumSeries script version 0.28 for Windows 2000 file. Extract the zipped file and put it in Scripts folder-
   C:\Lotem\Util\Quantum Files\ServiceShell\Scripts:
