Symptoms

Black vertical lines patterns about 2 inches long running intermittently in the same 1/3 area of the plate.

Cause

When 2 or more plates are queued for loading, pattern markings appear in the media.

Solution

Lubricate the carriage beam pads with silicone oil until they are completely saturated.
