Kodak^® Lotem^® 800 II platesetter

Error

Right local board error messages are generated after installing Service Shell 2.6 SP2 onto the platesetter.

Symptoms

• Some of the com. ports do not appear in the hardware tree
• Right local board error messages are generated

Solution

1. Verify that com. ports 1, 2, 3, and 4 appear in the hardware tree.
2. Locate the Device Manager window. Under the Modem section, make sure there is no Communication cable between the two computers. If required, right-click Communications cable between two computers and select Uninstall. This enables com. 3 to communicate with the right local board and ensures Lotem 800 Controller loads without any further problems.
