Plate did not reach punch

Symptoms

When the XY bar transports the plate to the short pins of the punch, the tail of the plate remains in the cassette tray.

Cause

The centering brackets in the cassette tray prevent any leeway for the plate to move either to the left or to the right:



The Plate did not reach punch error message is then generated because the XY bar cannot square the plate on the short pins.

Solution

Replace the centering arms with a newly designed version:

• For single cassette units (SCU) and multi-cassette units (MCU), implement FCO 510F28440
• For dual loading cassettes (DLC), implement FCO 510F28442
