Symptoms

Software version 3.75.01 contains an MCU animation. If the mouse points to the animated door, the actual Lotem door on the platesetter opens.

Cause

The door opens due to a bug in the software. However, the functionality and the reliabilty of the system are totally unaffected and the bug is merely cosmetic.

Solution

The bug has been resolved in the next minor version of 3.75 - due to be released in January 2004.

If required to resolve the problem prior to the next release, do the following:

1. Quit Lotem Controller version 3.75.01
2. Navigate to C:\Lotem\Lotem800\res\Avi
3. Rename the MCDoors.avi to MCDoors.old
4. Click on this icon, and download the MCDoors.zip file to your desktop.
5. Unzip the file and copy it to the Avi folder:
   C:\Lotem\Lotem800\res\Avi
6. Restart Lotem Controller.
