Error

Safety loop open error: TH2 error 03553.

Solution

Check the following:

1. Verify that all doors are securely closed and all interlocks are closed.
2. Check the cassette pin micro switches. Make sure they become activated when you plug a cassette into the Quantum.
3. Check that the pressure is not too high on the carriage harness, especially in the vicinity of the end position.
4. Disconnect any unecessary bands from the carriage harness.
5. Do the following test to verify if the error message is caused by a power cable problem:
   Implement the Carriage init and then send the carriage to 1400 mm. Repeat this procedure several times. If a safety loop error message is generated during the process, the 24v power cable leading to the TH2 head will have to be replaced. Replace the power cable 504L01513A with the aid of the wiring schematic (pdf).
