Procedure:

Note: You may need to use a metal stick to hold the door during the procedure.

  1. Check that you have all the parts listed above.
  2. Open the Front door.
  3. Disassemble one side of the gas spring, including the two brackets.
  4. Attach the new top bracket and gas spring to the top door (see upper bracket).

Note: pay attention to the direction of the gas spring as in the figure bellow.

  1. Attach the new small bracket to the main frame (see lower bracket). To assemble the nut you might need to release the old gas spring from the other side.
  2. Release from the other side the old gas spring with two brackets.
  3. Assemble the new brackets and gas spring.
  4. Lock all the four nuts.

Note: No need to return the old parts.
