The following 24-beam, 660-mV ThermoFlex platesetters with a 5-V or 12-V, 300-W power supply in the L-box:

• Kodak^® ThermoFlex^® Mid platesetter (all versions)
• ThermoFlex Narrow platesetter (all versions)

Background

This procedure describes how to replace the 5 V and 12 V power supplies with a new, different version of the power supply.

The new power supplies have the same part numbers as the previous power supplies:

• 209A00130 for 12 V
• 209A00120 for 5 V

Procedure

1. Open the relevant doors to enable access to the L-box, and then disconnect the main power supply from the wall socket.
2. When the main power supply is disconnected, open the L-box and disconnect all wiring from the old power supply.
3. Install the new power supply and connect the wiring as follows:

   Black (x4)	-V	-V

   
   
4. Close all doors and panels.
5. Connect the main power supply.

Perform the laser calibration at maximum power and expose a test image.
