Symptoms |
Note: One or both of these symptoms may occur. Poor image quality
alone can be the result of other causes. |

Cause |
In the Media Definition dialog box, an operator changed the Thickness parameter value for a media and selected the correct Focus Value parameter value for the new thickness. When returning to the previous media, the Focus Value parameter value does not return automatically. Each media has preset parameter values. If you change the Thickness parameter value of a media, the Focus Value parameter value automatically changes according to the new thickness. As a result, the correct focus value for the media is lost and the exposure is not focused. |

Solution |
If you have not yet changed the Thickness parameter value:
If you have already changed the Thickness parameter value: Try to obtain the correct Focus Value parameter value. You can usually find this value on the backup parameters diskette.
