Symptoms

Imaging on Asahi and Dupont plates shows chipping that is not rough around the edges. This happens intermittently.

Cause

The site environment does not meet the requirements in the site preparation guidelines. (There is too much dust in the air).

Solution

Adapt the site environment to meet the site preparation guideline requirement in the Environmental Conditions section under Cleanliness: "Filters in the air conditioning system should be able to block 60% of all 10-micron dust particles."
