Symptoms

• The A/250V slow blow 5x20 mm fuse on the E-box blows repeatedly.
• Device does not start.

Cause

The following are possible causes:

• Fuse is inadequate
• Power supply is unstable
• Power spikes are created by another device on the circuit
• Power distribution board malfunctions
• Power distribution box malfunctions
• E-box is defective

Solution

1. Confirm that the problematic fuse is the 2 A/250 V slow blow 5x20 mm, and replace the fuse.
2. Check and verify the stability of the power supply.
   If the supply is not stable, connect a Power Conditioner or an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), as described in the Platesetter performance is erratic tip.
3. Check whether another device on the same circuit is creating power spikes.
4. Replace the power distribution board.
5. Replace the distribution box.
6. Replace the E-box.
