Background

This procedure describes how to refill the chiller.

Procedure

1. From Controller, open the front door of the platesetter.
2. Exit Controller and turn off the platesetter.
3. Connect the 8 mm orange tube to a funnel.
4. Connect the other end of the tube (with the connector tap) to the drain tap.
   
   Note: If the tube with connector tap is not available, use a regular 8 mm orange tube.
5. Open the drain tap and the connector tap.
6. Fill the chiller with coolant until the coolant reaches the top level.
   
7. Close the drain tap and the connector tap, and then disconnect the tube.
   Note: To disconnect the tube, pinch the clips on the connector.

Test

Verify that the flow meter indicator rises, and its base reaches the following level:

• 50 Hz chiller—above 12 GPH
• 60 Hz chiller—above 22 GPH
