Magnus™ 400 is Creo’s next generation 4up and 6up CTP platesetter.
The product is based on Creo’s innovative thermal technology and includes
major improvements relative to the existing Lotem 400 family.
Magnus 400 thermal platesetters provide superior quality, high throughput and efficient plate-handling, making it a leader in the 4-up class. The Magnus 400 is a modular device, similar to the Lotem 400 family. It is based on the Lotem 400 loading and unloading mechanism and shares a similar “look”. The standard configuration is a semi-automatic model with the fast ContinuousLoad system and an entry-level workflow system. This model is easily upgradeable to full automation with a multi-cassette unit, inline punching and advanced workflow systems.
Magnus 400’s new thermal imaging technology provides top quality imaging and supports a variety of plates including chemical-free plates.
The Magnus 4/6up family currently includes the following main configurations:
Magnus workflow configurations and connectivity are the same as the Lotem 400 family and also include the new Evo connectivity option.
