Product

  • Kodak® Magnus™ 400 LDA family
  • Magnus 400 Quantum

Component

0.15 plates

Symptoms

During the loading process on semi-automatic platesetters, 0.15 plates are intermittently loaded crooked.

Cause

Incorrect plate loading parameters prevent the plates from reaching the registration pins on the drum.

Solution

Adjust the plate loading and plate loading motor parameters to accommodate 0.15 plates.

  1. In the Magnus 400 Controller software, in the Hardware tree, go to Loading System and adjust the following parameters accordingly:
    • Loading System\+Load Plate\Load Plate Extra to Drum For 0.15
    • Loading system\+Load Plate\+From Drum Entry to Drum Stage\Drum To Plate Extra for 0.15 (mm)
    • Loading Plate To Drum\Motors\Plate Loading Motor
  2. Click Apply, and close the Loading System dialog box.
  3. Restart the Magnus 400 Controller software for your changes to take effect.
