Error

5722: A problem occurred in the data path because of a mismatch in file size.

Cause

The LIF board received a data line that was too short from the front end via the TSP board.

Solution

After each adjustment or part replacement, check whether the problem is resolved. If not, proceed to the next step.

  1. Verify that the cable between the LIF and the TSP boards is firmly connected.
Note: On Magnus 400 Xpose, the LIF and TSP boards are connected with two cables and a connector between these cables.
  2. If the problem persists, submit a different job to check whether the problem is with the job or with some other component and call your service representative.
    • The job passes—the problem is with the job
    • The job fails—proceed to the next step
  3. Run the LIF board diagnostic test.
    • The test passes—proceed to the next step
    • The test fails—replace the LIF board
  4. Run the TSP board diagnostic test.
    • The test passes—proceed to the next step
    • The test fails—replace the TSP board
  5. To check the cable between the LIF and TSP boards, send a simulation job:
    1. In Controller, in expert mode, select Hardware > Board > LIF2 Data Card.
    2. In the Exposure Mode section, select Simulation.
    3. In the list, select Drum NOT rotate, lasers NOT activated.

    4. Expose the job.
  6. If the test fails, replace the LIF/TSP cable.
