5733: LDR I/F fifo AEF in line

Cause

Corrupted data path

Solution

After each adjustment or part replacement, check whether the problem is resolved. If not, proceed to the next step.

1. Verify that the cables between the LIF board and the following are firmly connected and in good condition:
   • TSP board
   • LMCE board
   • LDA driver
   Tighten the connections or replace the cables, if required.
2. If the problem persists, run the LIF board diagnostics tests.
   • The test fails—replace the LIF board.
   • The test passes—proceed to step 3.
3. To check whether the problem is intermittent, in Controller, perform the following:
   1. In Expert mode, select Hardware/Board/LIF2 Data card.
   2. Select expose mode, and select the following parameters:
      • Simulation
      • Drum not rotate
      • Lasers not active
   3. Run an expose job
4. If the expose job is successful, the problem is intermittent
   • Expose job succeeds—the problem is intermittent.
   • Expose job fails—the problem is constant.
   In either case, further troubleshooting is required.
