Error

The edge detection is inaccurate or the drum is dirty.

Symptoms

Edge detection fails on 0.15 mm plates, but manual edge detection is successful.

Cause

The tolerance for the edge search area is too small.

Solution

1. Increase the edge search area tolerance:
   In the registry, under ...\MACHINE, change the Plate On Drum Height Axis Absolute Position Error(mm) parameter to 30 or 40.
2. Increase the width start image area by 2 mm so that the edge strip is located farther away from the head gripper.
3. Change the focus relative movement from -100 to -120 or -150.
