Datapath error

Symptoms

A recurring nondescript Datapath error appears in the Magnus 400 Controller GUI, but does not include information about the error.

Cause

Interruption in the LIF data path

Solution

Before you replace the LIF data flow card, review the general log files to locate the reason for the datapath error.

In the following example, error 5736 describes a problem that occurred in the laser head because the temperature is not within the allowed range.

According to the information provided in the log, before you replace any parts:

• Check the level of the LDA coolant.
• Make sure that the air flow is not blocked on the chiller.
