Overview for the Kodak Magnus 400 II with LDA Platesetter

The Kodak® Magnus™ 400 II with LDA platesetter is the advanced generation of the Magnus 400 platesetter, which provides accelerated throughput and automated modularity to produce high quality imaging.

Moreover, the Magnus 400 II platesetters provide increased productivity and greater reliability, as well as the following improvements:

• Support for maximum and minimum plate sizes
  • Maximum plate size = 762 x 685 mm (30 x 27 in.)
  • Minimum plate size = 228 x 300 mm (8.98 x 11.81 in.)
• 60-plate cassette capacity
• Increased paper disposal capacity
• Increased throughput

New Features

The new line of Magnus 400 II platesetters offers a plate bypass option for platesetters with an MCU or SCU configuration, and a punch conveyor option for ContinuousLoad (CL) devices.

• Plate Bypass: Enables you to manually load a plate, either directly onto the loading area or by loading the required plate size into the MCU or SCU. You can expose a single plate or a group of plates in the shortest possible time frame without disrupting the Magnus 400 II ongoing workflow.
• Punch Conveyor: Connects to CL platesetters and enables you to configure up to six punches.
