Paper disposal rollers

Symptoms

Slip sheets get stuck in the paper disposal bin.

Cause

The gap between the disposal rollers is too large (2-3 mm) on one side.

Solution

1. In the Magnus 400 Controller software, open the front door and the MCU side doors.
2. Quit the Magnus 400 Controller software, and turn off the platesetter.
3. Loosen the screws that secure the bearing housings to the disposal rollers.
   
   
   
   
4. Move the rollers closer together, and tighten the bearing housing screws.
   
   
   
   
5. Close all doors.
6. Turn on the platesetter, and start the Magnus 400 Controller software.
7. Send a job for exposure, and verify that the slip sheets descend to the bottom of the paper disposal bin.
