Symptoms |
A drum-related error appears on Magnus 400 Quantum with Prinergy. |
||
Cause |
On a Magnus 400 Quantum device, communication between the MCE board and the platesetter takes place with an internal IP address, which is set and does not need to be changed. On a Trendsetter device, communication between the MCE board and the platesetter takes place with the IP address of the customer's network, and you must change the IP address to the IP address of the customer's network. In Service Shell, if you use Set Net to change the IP address of the Magnus 400 Quantum device to the IP address that is valid on the network, and then change the IP address range in the Incoming Network Connections to match, it results in a communications problem. |
||
Solution |
In Magnus 400 Quantum, do not change the IP address of the MCE board. | ||
