The Kodak® Magnus 400E platesetter is a new 4-page computer-to-plate (CTP) output device that has recently been added to Kodak's growing CTP products portfolio. The Magnus 400E platesetter is based on Kodak's innovative thermal technology and is targeted as an entry level device with limited specifications and automation relative to the Magnus 400 platesetter.
The Magnus 400E is based on the Magnus 400 loading and unloading mechanism, supports a variety of plates, including Kodak Thermal Direct processless plates and chemical-free plates, and is similar in design to the Magnus 400 platesetter. The standard configuration is a semi-automatic model with an entry-level workflow system and Thermal Direct plates.
The Magnus 400 family of thermal platesetters provides superior quality imaging, high throughput, and efficient plate handling, making this product family a leader in the 4-up platesetter industry.
