CRG:Carriage travel limit (None?) unexpectedly hit

Product

  All Magnus VLF devices.

Error

CRG:Carriage travel limit (None?) unexpectedly hit.
This error message appears when a carriage limit signal is detected by the xilinx. The firmware then checks which limit sensor (home or away) has tripped and sees that both home and away sensors are clear. It then prints out limit none.

Cause

This this can be caused by the relay (15-3248) below the carriage home/head cleaning position sensor bracket.

Solution

To verify if the relay is defective, bypass the relay by connecting jumpers from pins 5 to 1 and from pins 6 to 2. Replace the relay if it is defective.
Note:Remember to remove the jumpers from the relay after troubleshooting is complete.
