Error: *** Unsolicited Message 45242 Warning [Product1:Chiller flow is too low (Chiller flow sensor)].

Symptoms

The warning is reported on the Service Shell monitor. The TH3 head also shuts down when the error is reported.

Cause/Solution

The chiller flow switch is reporting that the coolant flow is too low. The head power is automatically switched off to prevent overheating. This could be caused by a chiller failure, low coolant pressure, a faulty switch, or faulty switch wiring. See chiller troubleshooting. The replacement switch kit is 510-00048A.
