initInitializes the loading/unloading hardware.
loadLoads plates on the drum.
The sequence of load operations is:For a single plate:unloadFor dual plates:
- Type
load 1000 770(if the plate has a mainscan of 1000mm and a subscan of 770mm)
or Typeload 1000 770 305(if the plate has a mainscan of 1000mm, a subscan of 770mm, and a thickness of 305 microns)- Put the plate on the table.
- Slide the plate into the LECs and push it gently against the registration pins.
- Check the plate registration.
- Type
load 1000 770 305 ms2(if the plate has a mainscan of 1000mm and a subscan of 770mm)
or Typeload 1000 770 305(if the plate has a mainscan of 1000mm, a subscan of 770mm, and a thickness of 305 microns)- Put the two plates on the table.
- Slide both plates into the LECs and push them gently against the registration pins.
- Check the plate registration.
Unloads media from the drum
abortcancel
abort- aborts all running processesabort clear- clears abortCancels the job. If the machine is loading a plate, the load completes and the media is left on the drum. Otherwise, the current operation is suspended.
ejectCancels the job and unloads the plate.
resumeTries the operation again (recovery from a suspend condition).
releaseReleases the media from its current suspend (replaces the MPE command 'clear').
backbonebalance weights
backbone- displays status of the backbonebackbone horizontal unload/horizontal load- moves the backbone to the start of operationcarriage
balancer- displays balance weight system statusbalancer extendaway- extends the away side balance weight actuator balancerbalancer retracthome- retracts the home side balance weight actuatorbalancer extendhome- extends the home side balance weight actuatorbalancer retractaway- retracts the away side balance weight actuatordebris removal
carriage idle/init/stop- idles, initializes, or stops the carriagecarriage move 100- moves the carriage at speed 100 mm/seccarriage moveto 100- moves the carriage to 100 mmengine
debris- displays debris removal statusdebris airjet on|off- turns the air jet on or offdebris all off- turns off all running debris optionsdebris blower on|off- turns the blower on or offlec
engine step enable|disable- enables/disables single steppingengine time- measures actuators timetec
lec on|off- moves the leading edge clamps on/off the drumrollers
tec getclamp park- gets tec from park positiontec getclamp saved- gets tec from saved drum positiontec putclamp park- puts the tec on the drum in the park position
roller on|off- moves the rollers on/off the drum
edgemedia
edge test - starts the edge detect procedureedge stop- aborts the edge detect procedureplot
media- displays current media settingsmedia <number>- selects media using number
Example:media 1- selects media 1media types- displays supported media types
plot 12 20 50- generates plot 12 (solid pattern) for a single plate. 20 mm is subscan size and 50 mm is mainscan sizeplot 12 plate 2- generates plot 12 (solid pattern) for a second plate (dual plate option).plot edge- gives the edge position of the last measured plateplot list- displays available test plotsplot shift- displays shift statusplot shift 20 50- sets subscan shift to 20mm and mainscan shift to 50mmplot stop- stops the plot
maskscan
mask- displays the flags that are currently maskedmask all- displays all status flagsmask on|off <flag#>- masks the flag on/offflyoff
scan bstatus- shows everything currently bypassedscan groups- shows all I/O groups
& indicates the 'presence detect' signal (under the Bit Name) [this means that the carriage home-side cable is detected].
~ indicates that the signal is inverted in firmware (under the State Group)
x indicates that the element is bypassed (under the State Group)
b indicates that the element is bypassable (under the State Group)
scan p- shows the status of all elements beginning with "p"scan presence- shows all presence bitsscan ps_loadtable1 bon- bypasses the load table sensor (boff- bypass off)
flyoff- displays flyoff statusflyoff clear- clears flyoffs
set
carriage media debris mh drum mode edge prd gc statuslights mds
Examples:prm
set <subsystem> limit- shows the allowable parameters rangeset <prd> <serialnumber>- prd-product specific taskset mh leclamppos 90- mh-media handler task (drum position for moving lec up/down)set prd customer nameset mds lastsubscan- subscan of the last plate (mds- media scheduler)set edge drumpos- edge position (nvs-set drum epos)set carriage mtravel- carriage max travel distanceset media 1 debrisoptions 1- only airjet DR enabledset media 1 debrisoptions 3- airjet and DR are enabledoption
prm all- shows all parameters (same as old MPE command 'NVS dump')prm diff- shows non-default parametersprm group- lists all parameter groupsprm hazardous media enable- media parameters are password-protected so that customers may not go in and change power and drum speed.prm saveall- saves all parameters
option nobutton [enable | disable]
So the device will wrap the plate onto the drum without having to press the start-button.Statistics and Information
