Drum vacuum pump

Error

Suspended: 40729 [MDHENG2:Drum vacuum timeout: Failed to achieve vacuum threshold (275) within 10000 ms (only reached 208). [AI_DVP_Vac]].
Note: The vacuum error may vary between 205 to 210.

Cause/Solution

1. Check that the drum vacuum pump is plugged in.
2. Check that the drum vacuum pump is working by checking the drum vacuum level.
• Type drum vac to check the vacuum reading. With the drum vac OFF the value should be 205 to 210.
• With no plate loaded on the drum, type drum vac on —the value must reach 275 in 10 seconds (275 is the DRUMVACOFFTHRESH and is set under set mh).
• With any sized plate loaded on the drum, type drum vac on —the value must reach 315 (315 is the ONTHRESH and is hardcoded).
  Before clamping the plate, the firmware checks that the drum vacuum is greater than OFFTHRESH; if not the drum vac unit is assumed to not be working and the load will be suspend.
  After the plate is fully loaded on the drum, the vacuum is checked again and must be greater than 315.
3. Check that the drum vacuum signal cable is plugged in at the Lionel board.
4. Check that the drum vacuum hose is connected.
5. Check the drum vacuum pump fuses.

As an interim solution, disable the vacuum sensor (scan AI_DVP_Vac bon).
