Unsolicited Message 45243 Warning [Product1:Head Power Module safety circuit failure]

Symptoms

The TH3 remaines online even if a door is open, and/or the chiller flow switch is disconnected.

Cause

• The relay on the PDB that turns off PS3 when the safety loop opens can be stuck on. In this condition PS3 continues to provide power to TH3.
• The coolant flow switch may be defective.

Solution

• Easy tapping on the relay may release the contacts, but the permanent solution is to replace the PDB (p/n 10-4112J).
• Replace the chiller flow switch (p/n 510-00048A).
