Magnus VLF MCU | ||
Component |
Picker. |
||
Error |
Plate detector sensor cables cut. |
||
Cause |
The plate detect sensor (located on the picker near the P-cups on the swivel assembly), can have its cable cut into if the picker P-cup bar swivels too far up and into the MCU. The cable is tied just prior to the sensor thus forcing the cable to be brought closer to the frame that the swivel bar attaches to. If you move the swivel bar in toward the bay about 45 degrees, it will cause the cable to press against the picker frame and get cut (like a pair of scissors).

||
Solution |
Routing the two cables in the center on the correct side of each other may prevent this from taking place. |
