Flash cover scratching table or panels

Description

The flash cover comes into contact with the table and/or panels.

Causes

  • Misaligned table, panel or crossmember

Solutions

Early Machines (FXB0, FXB1, FXB2)

Clearance the slide rail mounting bracket. This bracket also locates the flashcover position sensor magnets. Do not alter the magnet mounting locations.

Early Production and Later machines

Both the table and crossmember maybe adjusted to increase the clearance between the flashcover and table. Keep in mind that the final clearance between the drum and the table/crossmember must be no more than ¼" (safety requirement) and no less than the thinnest media used.
