Symptoms |
Artifacts appear on the media, then suddenly stop before the end of the plot. The marks are wavy. Amplitude is in the mainscan, and the marks extend along the subscan until they abruptly stop. See photos below.

Cause |
The elbow air fitting on the home side of the carriage has rotated so that the air hose is bouncing on the drum. |

Solution |
Turn the elbow air fitting 90 degrees and tighten any slack in the hose. Note: The air fitting part will be upgraded and replaced on a future ECO. |
