Problem	Dot gain has gone out of specification

Symptoms	Dot gain measurement is not correct

Causes and Solutions	Check the following possible causes for the dot gain being out of specification: The Volcano power setting under "set med #" should be 350 for all the stroke values. Make sure that when you type "sys info" that hold power should be set to off. Check laser output : "ld all 500 mw" to set all diodes to 500 mw, then "dps raw range" should output a string of numbers that we can compare to previous output values. Make sure the laser is not on any media when it does this. Check to make sure that "set hdm # ds" and "set med # drumspeed" are set to 225.
