Air Filter Regulator Assembly - VLF Devices

Description

The Filter/regulator assemblies regulate, filter, and dry the customer's compressed air supply.

Clogged filters can cause air pressure problems resulting in dropped plates by the plate picker in automatic machines. Filter failure can also damage the device's air system and allow contaminants to enter the device.

Note: It is critical for long-term performance of the device that the filters be changed at specified intervals.

Magnus VLF devices that were manufactured as series 2 devices include the following: MT149, MT150, and MT159 onwards with the exception of MT164.

TH3 Filter/Regulators for Series 2 devices

For Magnus VLFs with a TH3, a slight hissing sound can be heard coming from the filter/regulator assembly's compressed air dryer. This sound is normal and is caused by air being purged from a small hole in the tube to expel moisture.
