The ThermoFlex Load/Unload table is the large flat assembly forming the top working
surface of the recorder. The table is stationary during normal operation of the machine,
but does pivot up to provide service access to the interior of the recorder. The recorder
has been designed to allow media to be moved to and from the table from all sides. The
table is part of the door interlock loop.
provides a long-wearing surface with minimal friction against the media.
grounded to the main recorder grounding point to dissipate any static charge generated
by removing the media cover sheet or by sliding the media on the table
assembled from two separate pieces - front section is grounded
Table vacuum hold-down system By holding one edge of the media to the table, a single operator is able to peel the
coversheet from a full size plate. The table vacuum system can be activated at any time
(even during imaging of another plate) by pressing either of the gray Table Vacuum buttons at the back corners
of the table or the button at the Operator Interface
on the front right of the recorder. When the system is activated, all of the Table
Vacuum buttons will be illuminated. The system is deactivated by pressing any one
of the Table Vacuum buttons, or by activating the table air flotation
system.
table vacuum system securely holds one edge of a flexographic plate to assist with cover
sheet removal
six dimpled holes along the right edge of the table are connected to three vacuum
generators mounted on the underside of the table
compressed air source for the vacuum generators comes from a single solenoid on the
recorders pneumatic manifold.
The table air flotation system can be activated at any time (even during imaging of
another plate) by pressing either of the white Table
Float buttons at the back corners of the table or the button at the Operator Interface on the front right of the recorder.
When the system is activated, all of the Table Float buttons will be
illuminated. The system is deactivated by pressing any one of the Table Float
buttons, or by activating the table vacuum hold-down system.
aids in sliding the media around the table during loading and unloading
180 small holes distributed around the table accommodate all sizes of media
air supply for the air flotation comes from 3 fans mounted on the underside of the table
