Description | Parts | Procedures | Related commands

Description

The Safety interlock loop is designed to protect the operator from injury. It consists of door switches on the operator accessible panels and emergency stop switches on the top front cover. The safety loop is sensed and controlled by the Power Distribution board (PDB). The PDB shares this function with the Safety Control Module.

The unsafe condition remains until the panel is closed or the emergency stop button is released. The Service Safety Interlock Override Key (15-3526) can be used to override an unsafe condition while servicing or repairing the device.
The wiring diagram for the safety circuit can be found in the Electrical system wiring diagrams - Betas 1-4.
