Error

• Distribution card doesn't respond opcode 17.
• Laser A and B is on.
• MCF startup failed.

Symptoms

When the device is turned on in the morning after a cold start, an error regarding the distribution card (board) appears. Several reboots are required to start the device.

Cause

There is a malfunction or other problem with one of the following:

• NUC board
• Registry or software
• CPU BIOS
• Distribution board
• Laser interlock board
• MCF board
• Distribution box

Solution

1. Replace the NUC board with the latest version (comp level R).
2. Reload the registry and the software.
3. Load the CPU BIOS.
4. Replace the following boards and note their comp level:
   • Distribution board
   • Laser interlock board
   • MCF board
5. Replace the distribution box.
