Error

Drum motor goto speed fails

Symptoms

The drum initialization task times out, an alarm sounds when the doors are opened, and an error message appears.

Cause

One of the following components:

• Interlock relay
• D-box
• MCF board
• Laser Interlock
• Software installation

Solution

1. Open the inner panel of the D-box above the interlock board and verify that the yellow interlock relay is plugged in.

2. Verify that the D-box supplies the following power, and if it does not, replace the D-box.
   • To the E-box: Over 200 V AC
   • Phase to GND: 120 V AC
   • Phase to phase: 210 V AC
3. Replace the MCF board.
4. Replace the laser and mechanical interlock housing.
5. Reinstall the software.
